Located 18 kilometers (11 miles) northwest of Victoria, annual highlights of Goldstream Provincial Park involve the fish and birds that live here. In the autumn, visitors come to see the thousands of chum salmon that spawn here. And Eagle Extravaganza happens in mid-November when bald eagles arrive to indulge in a salmon feast.
The numbers of eagles peaks in mid-December, when more than 250 can be seen in a single day. This magnificent park lies amid the splendor of an old-growth temperate rain forest with majestic waterfalls and abundant walking trails.
