The birthplace and childhood home of Emily Carr, one of Canada's most famous artists and authors, is just one of the unique historic homes located in the neighborhood of James Bay. Built in 1863, the fully restored Carr House is just minutes away from the Inner Harbor. It depicts the Victorian household and lifestyle of the Carr family. There is also a People's Gallery which alternately features works of art by local artists and original works by Emily Carr. Anyone who appreciates art will enjoy this attraction. The Carr House is located at 207 Government Street.
