Perhaps you’ll want to treat to yourself to one of the elaborate Victoria afternoon teas offered at different inns and restaurants in the city. Victoria’s best known (and most expensive) afternoon tea is served in the tea lobby of the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
This tradition has been continuing since 1908 and you’ll sit at antique tables, eat from fine bone china, and enjoy your time in a ornately decorated tea room. Served in the relaxing atmosphere of the elegantly restored Tea Lobby, overlooking Victoria's sparkling Inner Harbor in the stately Harborside Room or under the hand-painted ceiling of the Library, Victoria Afternoon Tea is an absolute "must do" for all who visit Victoria.
