There are many private and independent day schools in the Victoria region, such as Ashbury College, Counterpoint Academy, Elmwood School, Joan of Arc Academy, Lycee Claudel, Macdonald-Cartier Academy, Westboro Academy, a number of Montessori schools and alternative language schools. Victoria Online Schools - Online Schools
Technology Resource Initiative is a program led by Victoria Centre for Research and Innovation and local industry to add to the pool of qualified technical workers in the region.
The Victoria-Carleton Innovators Program is a federal, provincial and territorial program that links educators in elementary and secondary school with scientifically and technically trained people from across Canada to excite students about science, technology and mathematics.
The Computers for Kids Program, administered by the Victoria-Carleton Learning Foundation, diverts surplus computer equipment from government and local companies back into area classrooms.
