Arbutus Junior High School opened on October 8th, 1970.
In 2002, Arbutus Junior High made the transition to become Arbutus Middle School.
The school prides itself on being a part of the local community.This was a school, where Steve Nash once studied (1987-1990). He is now an NBA superstar and winner of the NBA MVP award for 2005 and 2006! “I think the difference between Steve and other kids is that they think they are dedicated. But, Steve is.”
