Christ Church Cathedral School

At CCCS we have an active 'Environmental Group'.

The children meet regularly to plan initiatives from recycling to gardening. Visits from the 'Life Cycles' organization teach the children about the value of buying local food, growing your own and making compost. Bottles, juice containers, papers and plastics are all recycled at the school, and we are currently looking at energy saving measures to conserve water, electricity and heating fuel in our school building.

"Get set, GO!" - Cross Country

We got on the “starter’s block” and opened the season with some exciting races, producing excellent results during our Cross Country season.

Our student athletes in grades 4 through 8 were busy preparing for a weekly race series through the VISSA League, Victoria Independent Schools Sports Association. Our dedicated coaches, Mrs. Kennedy, Mr. Jenkins and Mrs. Hollingworth held practices throughout the week during lunch hours and after school.

Each week our team continued to shine and bring home great personal bests, excellent sportsmanship skills and some medals to boot!
